Colonial’s boys, ranked No. 3 in the Sentinel Super Six boys cross country rankings, captured the Class 4A, Region 2 championship Friday at Lake Park in Lutz, using a fifth-place finish from sophomore Andres Arroyo (15:41.02) to lead the victory. Colonial and Dr. Phillips, No. 2 in the Super Six, tied with 84 points, but Colonial won the tiebreaker because its sixth finisher, junior Jared Lopez, finished ahead of Dr. Phillips’ sixth runner.
